I wanted to keep up with school grades and assignments without having to check Aspen, the Chicago Public Schools portal, each time.
I built Aspen Monitor to send those updates to Telegram. It sends a scheduled digest, and I can ask the bot for more detail when I need it. My family and I use it every day.
School updates in Telegram
- Check new grades and current course grades.
- See overdue assignments and work due today or tomorrow, with course history and assignment details.
- Get summaries at a chosen time on weekdays, or check manually any day.
- Connect separate Aspen accounts for different users.
Aspen Monitor is written in Python and is open source.
