I wanted to choose the topics and sources for a podcast, then have it made automatically. Any Podcast collects stories, uses AI to select and summarize them, writes a script and generates the audio.
I made the sources, models, voices and branding configurable so I could use the same setup for different podcasts. You can also host your own copy.
Making an episode
- Collect content from selected sources and choose stories to include.
- Write summaries and an episode script, then generate speech with the chosen provider.
- Run on a schedule and save progress between steps.
- Change the sources, AI providers and branding for your own podcast.
Built with Next.js and Cloudflare Workers. It stores metadata in KV, and audio and saved processing state in R2. External AI services generate the text and speech.
