In an earlier post, I used Scriptable to put a widget on my iPhone’s Home Screen to show ComEd’s electricity prices. It was handy to check the price before running the dryer or charging the car.
Building apps has become much easier these days, so I thought I’d make a native iPhone app for this. I also wanted to make the widgets look the way I liked and show the information I cared about.
So I made WattDip. It shows ComEd’s current electricity prices and price history, with small and medium widgets for the Home Screen.
If you also use ComEd’s Hourly Pricing, you can find WattDip on the App Store.
